Today more and more people are being given freedom: women, LGBT+ and other minorities are seeing progression in their struggle for equality. The effects of all the fights, protest, and prides until this date are being seen around the world, as more and more countries are doing away with discriminatory laws. Pride started as a way to showcase that the LGBTQIA+ community was willing to fight for their rights. Pride rallies around the world faced violence, protest and more when they first started but they kept on fighting. We saw the community become louder, become braver and today we see more and more young LGBTQIA+ people take to the streets with ease. Free to be themselves without consequences. “>In cooperation with different pride celebrations in Europe, we are happy to provide a unique partnership. One where if you use the pride code to ride a Donkey in the city, we will be donating back to the organizers of pride. Visiting pride in these cities? Use the code while there:
So why does Pride still exist?
It is a battle to get to the point where the community is truly equal. From paternal rights, blood donation, job discrimination and more. It’s not just about the laws, it’s also about the everyday. There are still over 50 countries in the world where being homosexual is illegal and punishable by death of jail. Just as we will continue the fight for our future generations to have a home, by building a greener tomorrow. We applaud the LGBTQIA+ community for continuing their fight.Download the Donkey Republic App
